Loose Treadles on Aeolian Cabaret Player Piano
By Jim Hockenberger

Usually the problem with the loose pedals is because the nuts fastening
the pedal support rods are loose and need to be tightened. If you
raise up the pedals from the floor you will see the two nuts on the
bottom of the rods. That should take care of the problem.

As for the leaks, it could be several things, but the volume control
bleeds off vacuum on the top of the suction box when it's set at low
volume. That might be the leak you hear and it isn't there in high
volume.
