Market Value of a Piano Roll Collection
By Joseph Osborne

[ Ref. 120105 MMDigest --

First my thanks to everyone who offered advice on this subject
[purchasing a large collection]. I have decided that it is not
something I wish to get into. I am not a collector and would have
to go into the roll business. This collection needs someone who
can glance at things and know if the cash value exceeds the BTU
heating value. I should think the Ampico and Duo-Art portion is
worthwhile, but ... there are so many boxes to go through!

I would be happy to pass along the contact information of the
seller to anyone who is interested. He is a local rebuilder of
player pianos who has retired.
