World War One Tunes On Piano Rolls
By Jerry F. Bacon

Ref. "Would You Rather Be A Colonel With An Eagle On Your Shoulder,
Or A Private With A Chicken On Your Knee?"

I first heard this tune when I was playing a bass viol in the pit
band in a show at Six Flags Over Texas. I used to have a copy of the
piano roll which was, I think, a Connorized roll with a yellow label.
It is a great roll and a great tune.

Cheers,
Jerry F Bacon
