Travel The World In Song
By Andrew Lardieri

Thanks to my ever-broadening love for all things mechanical music,
I have looked up various lyrics to many songs ranging from the
Roaring Twenties all the way into the 1980s. Some tunes are either
set in or mention countries or states in their titles or in the
lyrics. A few examples:

California, Here I Come
Colorado (Harold A. Dellon), Waltz
The Battle Of New Orleans
North To Alaska
San Antonio Rose
England Swings
Goodbye Broadway, Hello France
Goodnight Germany
The Sidewalks Of New York
Atlanta, G.A.

No fees, no tickets, no baggage, no tickets, no customs, no passports
required -- just sit back and enjoy your free figurative trip around
the world through these tunes.

PS: Happy new year and may the heavenly Phoenix hopefully rise
from the fallen ashes of this crisis. I have also have subscribed
to another fantastic site which supports my love and passion
for competitive swimming. It's called SwimSwam which I have
submitted a few posts to and will continue to do so in the new
year. Here is the one that got published as of now, check it out!
