I'm Thankful for Player Pianos

A wonderful tribute, but thoroughly out of proportion with respect
to reality.  True, the pianola was largely an American phenomenon,
but even so, I find it difficult to believe that the plain ol'
"piano-forte" (without player) would today otherwise be unknown,
let alone rare.

Perhaps you meant "American piano manufacturing" which today,
despite the era of the player piano, is indeed rare in America
(excluding the luxury market).
