Ruth 38 Fairground Organ at Myrtle Beach, SC
By Cecil Dover

The death and devastation along the eastern seaboard is certainly a
tragedy and great loss and my question that follows does not mean that
I take it lightly. I am wondering, however, if the magnificent Ruth
organ at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, survived the hurricane without
damage. I have searched the Internet for information and have found
nothing as of this writing.

[ A newspaper article of June 28, 2014, reports that the Ruth Model 38
[ fairground organ formerly at Pavilion Amusement Park was moved to an
[ "indoor facility and it will go back on display somewhere in Myrtle
[ Beach, though officials aren't yet saying when and where." Ref.
