How Is "Decap" Pronounced?
By Lee Rothrock

Does anyone know how the Decap brothers pronounce(d) their name? If we
were to pronounce it the way words are generally pronounced in English,
we'd likely say "Dee-cap". I suspect, since they are obviously Flemish
rather than French, that it might be more like "Duh-cop".

As a linguist, this has been a question in my mind for some time.
Any help ?

[ In Europe I recall hearing "Dee-cap" with first syllable emphasized.
