JULY 20,21,22 1995
You are invited to the 20th ANNUAL BAND ORGAN RALLY, July 20, 21, 22, 1995 at
CROSSROADS VILLAGE, FLINT, MICHIGAN, sponsored by the MID-AMERICA CHAPTER OF
THE MUSICAL BOX SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL.
The book "Organs of the Mid-America Chapter" is no published and ready for
distribution. As a special "THANK YOU" to members who bring an organ to
the 20th Annual Organ Rally, this book will be given (one to a family) as
part of the registration. Additional books may be purchased at the special
introductory member's price of $1`0.00, at this rally.
CROSSROADS VILLAGE is open to the public weekdays, 10 am to 5:30 pm, and
weekends 11 am to 6:30 pm. Automobiles are not allowed within the Village
during operating hours, so IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PLACE ORGANS INSIDE THE
VILLAGE during these hours. If you arrive during these times, you can
lay outside the village and move in after closing. Good spots are available
in the parking areas. Since the village is operated by Genessee County
Parks and Recreation Commission, no alcoholic beverages are allowed.
THURSDAY, JULY 20th. "PLAYING IN THE PARK," 5:30 to 10pm. Early placement
of organs, picnic supper at 7 pm, river cruise, amusement rides, and ice cream.
FRIDAY, JUYL 21st. Organ placement in village, prior to 10 am. Pancake
breakfast 8:30 - 10am. Organ playing all day. Lunch and diner on your
own. We suggest Frankenmuth, a quaint Bavarian Village, famous for family-
style chicken dinners. The hospitality room will be open later in the
evening at the hotel.
SATURDAY, JULY 22nd. Mart and buffet breakfast at the hotel. Rally day
at the village. Cash bar and smorgasbord dinner at Walli's Supper Club,
Chapter Meeting, and special program "20 YEARS OF MEMORIES" by Bob and
Diane Yates.
SUNDAY, JULY 23rd. Those wishing to stay and play organs at the village,
are welcome to do so. But remember, you cannot remove trailers until after
the park closes.
Rally package includes: Admission t Crossroads Village, Thursday night
activities, 1 Huckleberry Railroad ride, Carousel, Ferris Wheel and
Venetian Boat rides, Friday pancake breakfast, Saturday buffet breakfast,
and Smorgasbord Buffet at Walli's.
Each OUTDOOR ORGAN OWNER displaying an organ will receive a souvenir pin,
poster, and T-shirt. Maximum of 2 of each. Each INDOOR ORGAN OWNER
displaying and playing an organ or organs will receive one souvenir pin
and poster.
RALLY MOTEL AND MART at the RAMADA INN, I-75 & Pierson Road (Exit 122),
Flint, Michigan. Use the enclosed card to make reservations, before
July 6th, to receive the special rate of $53.00 for up to 4 people in a room.
