Introduction
By Steve Cobb

I just joined the automatic-music LISTSERV, and wanted to send a note of introduction.

My name is Steve Cobb. I have been a member of MBSI and AMICA for a number of years. I work for Sprint in Kansas City by day, and tinker with player and reproducing pianos at night. I have one working Welte upright Autopiano reproducer, an Ampico A Knabe grand project piano, a really fun tiger oak Aeolean pumper player, a couple of reed organs (projects) and an electronic/pneumatic Kimball player organ. I am interested in music boxes ( I do have a couple of modern Thorens disk boxes) and orchestrions, but alas, can't afford any more stuff! I am also very interested in MIDI music, particularly in connection with conversion of piano rolls to MIDI for archival purposes.

I have a beautiful, understanding wife named Nancy, and a wonderful daughter, Callie. I'm happy to see a LISTSERV covering this topic.....
