Dear Jody;
Thanks for the enthusiastic response. Yes indeed, I
would appreciate the info on the MBSI to advertise. Now that
the third CD is out, I can offer the three as a set. They are:
1) Our Favorite Rag (U. of Wisc Eau Claire Symphony Band)
2) Wake Up, America! "
3) Ragging the Baby to Sleep (Los Angeles Pierce College Symphonic Winds)
All are $18.00 postpaid, first class shipping within the USA.
Please let me know what you think of both the music and the liner
notes, should you order any. All come with a 100% refund guarantee.
Anybody who likes orchestrion and band organ music will play them to
death- this is the music both band organs, orchestrions and the
full 88-note arrangements imitated!

Yes, please- I have been a triple-barreled name user since I was
a kid. Plus it helps discern me from "the other Steve Goodman"
the country song writer who died a few years ago (the rumor of my
death...etc.!)

I'd like to do more than visit the 30-A; I have a recording project
in mind featuring both the rags in his collection as well as some
of my own numbers. When I get a moment I'll give Mike a call.
As soon as I can find a spare moment (what's that??) I'll upload
a couple of midi file samplers of some of my numbers. I'm convinced
that the automatic musical instrument of the future is midi composition
aimed at the home user/multimedia enthusiast. Just think...ragtime
is once again on the cutting edge of technology!
