This is a message just to introduce myself as a new member to the mailing list.
I am a family physician and my wife, Ann, is a dermatologist, and we live in Nashville, Tennessee. We accidently became interested in music boxes when we came across an old Swiss cylinder box in an antique store. We bought that one for my mom, who was celebrating her 60th birthday that year. Shortly thereafter we were attending a conference in Seattle where I had the good fortune to meet Bill Ullstrom, one of trustees of the Musical Box Society International. He sold me a nickel operated Regina 15.5" disc music box with a collection of old disks. We have an automated silver bird box that we love, and a blind man's repeater pocket watch that plays a tune if you listen closely enough.
I am looking forward to participating in this list.
