Re: Regina #34 Answer
By Denny Byrne

Craig, thank you very much for your advice on the #34 problem. I am no restorer, but have done some general -simple- work on the Regina. I do have a good man who replaced the lift bands and fixed the governor and will get him to take a look. I would appreciate any names you have of people in the area you recommend.

I have the #34, a Mira 15 1/2 and a Symphonion #25. MY wife will leave me if I buy another one!! I hope to sell the #25 in the near future. Every time I plan to take it somewhere to sell it ; the weather is bad etc. As you can see, I love music boxes.

The Model #25 has two combs, one on each side of the center drive post. Do you know if that would be considered a"sublime harmonie" comb arrangement? If you are interested in a model 33 or 34<piano back> the fellow who works on mine has two for sale.

I tried to send you an E-mail last week but it came back undelivered. What is your handle?

I use my daughters which is SHIVA KO3. I am new to AOL. Any special reason you use the modern name for the old Haloid Co. in your address?

Again, Craig thanks for the advice.

Denny Byrne
