Come on now. Remember my Great-Grandmother's old saying???? "The LAZY Man Suffers The MOST Pain." Don't convert that double valve to a single as a panacea or with the statement that it 'll be "BETTER THAN NEW". Next time you go have your car serviced, have them disconnect 2 cylinders so it will use less gas and run better.
The "over-amplification" comment is misleading. The response of a double valve is "OUTSTANDING"!!! The single valve system took its place for cost effectiveness. That's all.
