A friend of mine here in Winnipeg tipped me off on a "new"
web search engine:
http://www.excite.com
This morning I went poking around in it, and within a few
minutes had found my way into a mammoth web site of music
related resources maintained by the University of Indiana
Music Library:
http://www.music.indiana.edu/misc/music_resouces.html
It in turn led me to a web site of classical midi files:
http://www.prs.net/~prs/midi.html
select [5] index
select [22] alphabetic "A"
Scroll your way through the entire alphabet of composers.
At this last one, I downloaded about 40 of my favorite classical
.MID files and as I prepare this message, I'm happily listening
to all of them queued up through my SoundBlaster system. I'll be
back there soon, going after many more.
Enjoy!
