Verdi and Rossini player
By Joe Mirabile

I've been advised that you may be able to help me. Below is my story:

I am in search of an upright player piano circa late 1920's. My grandfather bought it in NYC and brought it home to Albany to give to my mother. It was lost in 1976 when my mom traded it in for a new piano. I WANT IT BACK!!

It was a mahogany upright (painted over twice) with a nameplate inside which said "Verdi and Rossini". Have you ever heard of this brand? The air system was dried out and didn't play rolls at all since 1960, but I'm sure it could be rebuilt. I have been unable to track down what happened to it after the delivery man picked it up in '76, but am wondering if I could get one of the same model if the actual piano is gone for good.

Thanks for any help,
Joe Mirabile
