Re Mozart Piano Roll Search (digest 960102)

Jim, Especially for you and the Mozart fans in this group Horst Mohr transcribed the Rondo `Alla Turka' from Ampico 68701G, March 1928, played by Lewis Richards. Then Horst created the MIDI file, "ready to play" on your synth piano, using his Ampico-to-MIDI emulator program. It sounds pretty faithful compared to my memory of the actual Ampico performance (which is, ...umm..., "stylized"). Tell us your impressions.
I will send the MIDI directly to you and Jody using UUencode (RONDO.UUE 26kB), and perhaps Jody can place the file in the FTP directory at foxtail for other interested MIDI-fans. Tell me if you have problems: some of the MIDI-file parameters are unusual, but it works okay with MasterTracks (Mac).
