The Musical Box Society International (MBSI) has a wonderful museum exhibit featuring cylinder and disc music boxes, a reproducing grand piano, and a few other pieces of interest. It is housed in a large historic mansion on the second floor, and is roughly 1 or 1-1/2 hours north of New York City by car.

295 West Avenue; Norwalk, Connecticut

VERY IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO PHONE BEFORE YOUR VISIT TO MAKE SURE THE MUSEUM WILL BE OPEN, and to get directions.

The museum is closed during the winter months, but re-opens March 1. Hours are T-F 11-2; Sunday 1-3. The best time to see the musical boxes is on Sunday when our own MBSI members are on duty and will play the music boxes for you.
