Deansboro Museum
By Joe Hutter

Just a point of information. I have recently visited 'The Musical Museum' at Deansboro this past August. It is in fact a good idea to see what their hours are before making the trip. However, I wouldn't lose any sleep over whether or not they're open. Basically, every machine that I saw was out of tune and severely damaged. About half of them didn't work at all. To the un-initiated, the instruments would appear as a bunch of junk. If you're looking to hear these machines as your primary reason for going there, don't. If you're interested in seeing representative examples of nickelodeons, pipe organs, reed organs, barrel organs, and other hand cranked miscellany, it might be worth a visit on that level.

Best Regards,
Joe
