I beg to differ. Althought I am no expert (an expert is someone over 50 miles from home with a briefcase) I have seen quite a few of these offered for sale over the years and a good unrestored Steinway in an art case with a complete Duo-Art mechanism will easily sell between $10000 and $18000. The asking price is certainly not off by an order of magnitude.
