mime64.exe
By Horst Mohr

Hello Jody,

the mime.zip you found must be the right one. A friend sent me mime64.zip uudecoded. I did uudecode and got mime64d.zip. Unzipped it and got mime64.exe.

BTW If you once have some time send me rolls.c from Wayne Stahnke please.

With my best regards, Horst

[ Horst,
[
[ I'm glad to see you are getting your e-mail once again. We
[ finally figured out what was happening: A US company called
[ "Decatur Electronics" had the misfortune to register a mail
[ forwarding record for "de.com". Unfortunately, many US based
[ mailers try appending ".com" onto the end of e-mail addresses
[ and unwittingly forward the mail, incorrectly, to Decatur Electronics'
[ forwarding machine. I would guess that a lot of mail was sent
[ there by mistake. Fortunately, that machine would re-forward the
[ mail, correctly, to Germany. On February 28, the machine forwarding
[ Decatur Electronic's mail disappeared from the Internet. My mailer,
[ and I'm sure many others, waited patiently to send their Germany-bound
[ mail to the now missing machine. I have added a special "adjustment"
[ to my mailer. Others in the US may have better luck if they put a period
[ on the end of e-mail addresses:
[
[ e.g. mohr@nemeter.dinoco.de.
[
[ Thanks for confirming the mime64.zip file.
[
[ The rolls.c file of Wayne's is "hidden" in the FTP archive inside
[ a zip file:
[ ftp://ftp.foxtail.com/pub/automatic-music/misc/barneyg.zip
[
[ I'll send you the .c file in a separate message
[
[ Jody
