Pouch Leather

When I read Craig's recent note about Kangaroo Pouch Leather being available at Player Piano, I immediately called in and tried to order a few skins. To my disappointment, there is none presently available. I agree with Craig that this skin is outstanding from the toughness and leakage point of view. About two years ago I purchased some from Player Piano and was very impressed with the quality of the leather. It was uniformly thin at .008 to .010 and had a pretty red color to it - very distinctive. The folks at Player Piano said that they have an order in with their supplier but is not very hopeful that it will ever be delivered (order outstanding for 2 years!).
