On June 9, 1996, in Chemnitz (in the former East-Germany), Wolfgang Heisig will present two compositions by Lyonel Feininger. The occasion is the opening exhibition of "LYONEL FEININGER -- 200 woodcuts from private collection -- A showing in cooperation with the Ludwigsburg Art Club".
Heisig transcribed 2 manuscripts by Feininger, Fugue I and Fugue II, and punched the music roll, and will interpret the music with a Phonola player piano. |
