Rev. Linnstaedt found a F-P record player/music box. At least until a couple years ago, F-P still made that record player. And if you write to F-P, you still may be able to buy records, though probably not any that would match the one Rev. Linnstaedt has. They also produced a 'Little People' caroussel with music box that uses the same records (we have both).
F-P has made many records with various tunes; the most recent have been Disney's, the earlier ones more traditional kid's songs. I also have been unable to open up the record player past a certain point; it is indeed kid-proof!
