MIDI Keyboard and WAV Files
By Damon Atchison

I saw a good 5-octave keyboard at Wal-Mart for $80. It's the cheapest and best I've seen. You hook it into your computer to play/create Midi files.

I have almost given up on the local hardware retailers. I can't find anyone who knows _anything_ about flake, or powdered animal hide glue. Is Player Piano Co. the only place to get it? I'm reluctant to order it because I don't want to wait long for it to ship.

Re Matthew Caulfield's advice that I order the Player Piano Co.'s lock and cancel valve: thanks, I already did; I was just looking for plans to build one. Also, thanks so much for the roll information.

To all: I can E-mail my list of rolls to anyone who wants it, and also I have a 25 foot cord to the microphone on my computer so I can record the piano playing and send the recordings via the net, compressed, in .WAV format. Anyone interested may E-mail me.
