Hide Glue at Violin Shop
By Damon Atchison

I wish I was magical, but I'm not (anymore). I really had high hopes about rebuilding my piano (1921 upright Beckwith player), but now I'm not so sure. It is in deplorable condition, and badly needs rebuilding, but I can't spend the money. I would like to just let it alone, but I wouldn't
get any joy, knowing it's little secret every time I saw it. I will read Reblitz's book, then make my final decision.

My endless questions about hide glue are almost over. I found it without having to go through the Player Piano Supply Co. I was sent a message from J. W. Miller suggesting violin shops, and I also found it through a piano restoration shop for $4 per pound plus shipping & handling. (Player Piano Co. is $6.00/lb or $25 for 5 lbs.)

AMICA -- What is it? Why should I join? What do you get in the mail and how often does that come? How much is it?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! ----- currently applies to Hanukah
