"'Tain't No Sin"
By Ken Vinen

What a wonderful risque popular song! Just going by memory on this:

The polar bears way up in Greenland --
They have the right idea!
They think it's great
to re-frig-e-rate
while we all cre-mate
down here.

And if a gal wears X-ray dresses,
that show everything she owns,
'Tain't no sin, to take off your skin
and dance all round in your bones!
This song is in my collection on 88-note Imperial #07516 with the copyright to Donaldson, Douglas and Gumble. No pianist given.

I also have it on 12" L.P. entitled "From Bar Room to Broadway" with Bonnie Roberts, on the Canadian Talent Library label. Jacket credits the composer as Edgar Leslie, the year 1929 and show performing rights as Capac.

It's a timeless, fun piece of music and I hope you can find a copy.

Regards, Ken Vinen, Stratford, Ontario, Canada. (kvinen@orc.ca)
