Introduction

Hello, all. Just thought I would take a minute to introduce myself, as I am new to the group. My name is Rob Goodale, and I am a Registered Piano Technician (RPT). I have been interested in mechanical music for years, and have done "some" restoration work. Unfortunately I don't get involved as much as I would like to, but I continue to look in that direction.
I actually became a piano technician to begin with because I was interested in Mechanical music and was hoping that this would be an avenue that would lead me there. In addition to the PTG, I am also a member of AMICA and MBSI. Currently I am rebuilding an 1879 Bechstein grand. I look forward to chatting with you more in the future.
P.S., I am also involved with some MIDI work. ;-)
