Mechanical Music in the Movies

Ron Bopp mentioned a couple of movies that included mechanical music. My favorite is the unforgettable carousel in "The Sting". The soundtrack included one or two of the tunes from that instrument. The only one I remember is "Listen to the Mocking Bird". As this scene included a bunch of prostitutes, I think it was edited out of the televised version. Anybody know where that carousel is or what the instrument was?
