Subject: Piano Rolls For Sale
I have some thirty to fifty piano rolls. The best are two from Jelly Roll Morton: Stratford Huntch on Vocalstyle 50485 and Shreveport Stomp on Vocalstyle 50481. I am interested in selling them as I sold old rare 78's through "Don Brown's Record Finder" in California some years ago. I would like to know if there is a magazine that offers lists for bidders on piano rolls.
Other authors I have are Joplin (Maple Leaf Rag) and Fats Waller and James P. Johnson. These are the original 88-note rolls in excellent to very good condition. They are from my father's collection left to me some years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
