Subject: Thorens music box
I am trying to replace a Thorens music box given to my mother by her Grandfather in the 30's. The original was destroyed in a fire and came from the Chicago World Fair. The box was very simple and had a separate compartment for the 4 1/2 discs. I would guess the dimensions were 10" by 6" by 6". A simple wooden box with a simple wooden lid.
Do you have any idea where I might locate a box like this? Thank you very, very much. I am pleased to have found you on the "web."
