Jill Miller posts the following needs for a friend. The 1914 Aeolian
roll catalog prompts the remarks on the right:-
•
Schumann:- No Impromptus are shown for Schumann,
but "Dedication" is the translation
of his song title "Widmung" of which
this Liszt transcription was issued:
(London nos.)
Widmung T83416
However:
SCHUBERT, FRANZ 1797-1828
1. Impromptu No 19 op.3 (Op.3 not in catalog, probably songs)
2. Dedication (not Mastert'ch) see above
4 Impromptus Op.90
3. Impromptu No 3 op. 90 No.3 G major, andante TL21637
4. Impromptu No 2 op.90 No.2 E flat major, allegro TL20226
¶
Schubert:-
Impromptu G Flat No 3 op.90 see above
(So much Schubert has been discovered
since piano-roll times that the Opus
system isn't referred to much nowadays)
¶
Chopin:-
1. Waltz op.69 No 2 (posthumous, composed 1835) TL20377
2. Waltz E Minor No 14 Chopin pieces weren't numbered on rolls
except by Op no. This is almost
certainly Valse, E minor,
(posthumous, composed 1829) TL21050
