Subject: From Audio to Midi

I found your exchange on converting audio to Midi. I'm a little new to Midi, but am learning quickly with Steinberg Cubase. I'm most interested in music education, and so converting .wav files to editable .mid files would be a great timesaver.

I hear that Emagic Logic will automatically convert audio files to Midi, but do not know if the program lives up to its promises. Have you learned of any programs that do this with relative ease? I'd appreciate any information you can give me.

Thanks,
