Transcribing Rolls to Disklavier Files
By Tom Steuer

Scott Currier asks about transfer of rolls to disc for use in his
PianoDisc system. I have a Duo-Art Vorsetzer, which I use in combination
with my Yamaha Disklavier to transfer rolls to floppy disc very
effectively. This works only on Disklavier, Baldwin, and PianoDisc
systems so far as I know.

I will be happy to transfer anyone's Duo-Art rolls, provided they are
in good condition, will track well, and are not dog-eared or torn; this
includes originals or recuts. I will charge one dollar per roll and you
pay the shipping both ways. This is a modest enough charge, I think.
You will get your rolls back with floppy discs. I can transfer about
8-14 rolls per disc, depending on the length and intricacy of the rolls
and will need a week or two to take care of any order except for very
large ones. Feel free to contact me.

Best regards to all,

Tom Steuer
