Voltem Rolls
By Al Menashe

One of my favorite rolls is a "Voltem". it is CHONG WHO COMES FROM
HONG KONG. It plays perfectly on my Stroud Duo Art. The roll has
snake bites on both sides and has detailed instructions on how to
faithfully reproduce the actual performance of Morse and Erlebach the
pianists who recorded the composition. It is necessary to lock on
both melodant and sustaining levers of the Angelus and to place the
metronome lever at the time stated then follow the volume line. It
also instructs to use the phrasing lever and melody buttons. I dont
have all of that stuff, but it is a great roll and truly sounds like
a real performance.
