Claviola
By Rod Cornelius

Daniel Wilson note re John Farrell's purchase of a Claviola in England
with damaged tracker bar. I have a couple of the push up players. They
were sold through H.Paling and Co Sydney Australia. Somehow two ended up
here in New Zealand. I have not restored these and one has a fair
collection of Borer living in it Though it has been treated. They both
look the same and would seem to be apart from the motors. One has the
Hupfeld round pneumatic type with three pneumatics. The other has a slide
valve flat type motor with a celluloid cover box structure over the
slides. This is only from memory as they are in my store. One of those
places which you always say you will get around to cleaning out, but
never do. Any way I don't need two. So if anyone is interested you can
have it. But freight may be high.
