Player Harp
By Rick Inzero

The Wurlitzer company made a full sized player harp -- it was *not* a
toy. I saw a mint one (beautiful wood) this past November (1996) at
Bellm's Antique Cars & Music in Sarasota, Florida. I asked if it
worked/to hear it, and was told that Mr. Bellm had personally told the
staff "hands off". (Ditto for the violin players there. :-( after
driving over a thousand miles!) I presume it runs off a perforated roll,
but that part of the mechanism was not visible, so I'm not sure. There
was an electric cord dangling from it, so it was probably a
motor-operated pneumatic device.

Come to think of it, I took a photo of it; I'll look around. If I can
find it, I'll scan it for the MMD site.
