Music Box vs. Musical Box
By Philippe Rouillé

Thank you Bob Conant, Thank you Stephen K. Goodman for your nice answers
yesterday about music boxes and musical boxes !

It seems that in the USA or in English speaking countries, some bars or
places where music or dance takes place, or even some shops selling
records use the name: "The Music Box".

But I have not heard for those places a name like "The Musical Box."
(Could it be possible in San Francisco's Chinatown, according to Stephen
Goodman's definition ?)

In France, some bars, dancing places or record shops use the name "La
boite a musique". We never speak of "La boite musicale". I wonder what
happens in German or in Dutch.

Best regards,

Philippe Rouille (Paris, France)
