Playrola Organ
By Brian Chesters

Hello again, I have just received a Playrola organ through the post
which I bought over the phone, from the USA. I imagined something like
a Rollmonica but was pleasantly suprised. It was somewhat larger than a
Rolmonica and is made entirely of tin plate metal in a square shape upon
which is printed a picture of an organ complete with keyboard or Manual
and stops.

Inside you place the roll which measures 4.25 inch as opposed to a
Rolmonica roll which is 3.25 in. It has two winding handles on the left
facing the front and you blow and suck through the hole at the back.
It came in the original box and is made by the Pla Rola Corporation of
Easton, MD.

Do any other members have one of these? When were they produced and
were lots of them made? As I only have one roll, Does anyone know where
I might find more?
