Chein Music Rolls
By Jerry Slonsky

I'm responding to a posting by Bill Burns in Digest 970623 regarding the
six rolls he has for the Chein instrument.

Although you mentioned you didn't think the rolls were for a toy, the
PianoLodeon is in fact a toy made in the late 50's and early 60's. The
model number is 909. I own one, and I saw two sell at the Miles Music
Museum Auction held last week in Eureka, Arkansas.

Bill, I would be interested in buying the six rolls if I don't already
have them, and they are in good condition.

I'd also be interested in selling the piano. It was in storage since the
60's and is in like new condition. I even have the original box it came
in. If you are interested I'd sell it for $325.00. The ones that sold
at the Miles auction went for $250, and weren't in near the condition
this one was. They didn't have the original box. They were purchased by
a dealer.

Please let me hear from you.

Regards,

Jerry Slonsky
