Identifying Clark and Capital A-rolls
By Don Teach

Nickel Knowledge -- Have you ever wondered how to tell a Capital A-roll
from a Clark/Automatic A-roll when the leader is missing?

Simple: the Sustain and Soft perf's are always Chain perforations on
the Clark/Automatic rolls, and the Capital Sustain is a continuous
perforation.

Also most, but not all, Capital rolls have a metal piece in the core
that keeps the core from slipping on the spool, but Clark/Automatic have
a wooden piece.
