Artrio Reproducing Grand
By Debbie Legg

Dear list, I made a service call today on a Hallet Davis & Sons Artrio
reproducing grand. What a system!

Of course the previous rebuild was somewhat less than professional and it
will need some diagnostics and redoing. This unit has everything (less
the rotary pump) in the drawer, including the Simplex stack.

I understand that the expression coding is similar to Duo-Art. What,
if any, are the differences? Also the customer would like to know about
availability of rolls. I gave her the MMD address so we may hear from
her in the future.

Have any of the rebuilders out there encountered one? Any particular
quirks to watch out for? I may be called upon to remove the drawer and
do the work.

I have located the Angelus-Artrio tracker bar scale. It's evidently
similar in concept to Duo-Art but not in scale! I'm interested in
anyone's experiences with this system. I have ordered the reprints that
are available.

Thanks,

Debbie Legg
