Concerning the Pianolist Instruction thread. I'm a little surprised no one
has mentioned the fact that some manufacturers made rolls that explained
how to play the piano with expression. I have one of these rolls it was
produced for the Gulbransen player. The label reads "GULBRANSEN Instruction
Roll No. 2 Teaching proper use of ..." First edition. I was hoping to
collect the whole set. How rare are these rolls and is there any chance of
finding the other. I believe they were in a 4 roll set. The roll is
illustrated and has words explaining the techniques used. The roll flanges
are the gold painted metal and have the Q . R. S. letters.
