Modern Player for Hotel Bar
By Marty Roenigk

My good friend Don Teach needs to realize that restoring a historic (read
'very old') hotel is a lot like rebuilding a player piano -- in this case
you have to do the same thing 68 times, which really adds up when you are
remodeling bathrooms!

In any event, I do appreciate Don's undoubtedly wise advice. However I
have great reservations about putting a new piano in a bar because of the
treatment it will receive, and I doubt that the very best is much better
than the very good in such an environment in terms of listening. I think
'most reliable', and 'very good sounding', should be the determinants in
this environment.
