Artizan A-2 Organ in Shelby NC
By Tommy Forney

The serial number that Matthew Caulfield referred to on our organ is
actually #347, not #237. It is stamped in large (5/8") numbers on wood
low in the case above the pressure bellows. Seems to be part of a large
folded pipe that runs horizontal, but I'm not sure about that. The same
number appears stamped in smaller size on the vacuum bellows, on the edge
of a board that separates the reservoir from the main bellows. It does
seem that it must have been a function of the conversion to Wurlitzer's
system, doesn't it?
