Upright Dampers/Nodal Ringing
By John A. Tuttle

Hi John,

There is one very easy way to virtually eliminate nodal ringing
in the low tenor region of upright pianos. Install tri-chord
damper felts. And if you want to take it one step further, cut a
small 'V' in the face of the felt piece which will effectively
create two contact points.

Musically,
John A. Tuttle (johntuttle@playercare.com)
