Just thought I would share  something with the group.  I travelled to
North Tasmania (all of 100 m) last weekend to a "Railex" exhibition which
mainly has railway oriented material, but I was taken back by a
beautifully restored carousel, in full operating condition, with original
steam engine and card playing organ.  What a site to behold!

It was brought out from England five years ago, mainly just rusty bits
and pieces.  I checked on the web (Search "Carousel") and was delighted to
find a lot of information and downloadable sound clips.  What magnificent
representations of mechanical marvels I am sure you would agree.

P.S.  I too send my congrats to Robbie and Co.  I really enjoy the digest
down under.  Cheers.
