Jody, Just a short note to introduce myself.  I found your web site
while I was looking for information on music boxes and phonographs.
Just got hooked up to the Internet two days ago and didn't realize how
much information was out there.

I started collecting phonographs about 10 years ago and am currently
trying to restore a cylinder music box (my first one) back to working
condition.  It's great to know there are sites to reach other
collectors.  I have read a few books on music boxes but know very
little about them .  If anyone knows where parts are available I would
appreciate hearing from them.

I also plan to buy a disc music box in the future and understand that
new discs are available.  But where?
