If extra-thin material is desired, I have found that it is best to have
it hand selected by one of the resident experts at Organ Supply.

Pouch leather thicker than .010" is completely unsuitable for small
primary pouches such as those in the Ampico "A" (and it should not be
sealed if the pouch is this small).  Yet, unfortunately, leather this
thin is rarely used for such purposes.  Ampico secondaries also deserve
this thickness, but should be sealed.
