A long-term collector recently let me borrow his box of old catalogues
to photocopy.  In with them were a few copies of Aeolian's house
magazine, 'The Aeolian'.  This contains lots of bits about people and
activities for insiders, not a sales pitch, and is a wonderful primary
research source.

There are 3 American and 1 British magazines in the lot I've borrowed,
spread between 1920 and 1926.  Does anyone know of other copies of the
magazine? It would be wonderful to put together a complete run.  Let me
know.  I can copy the ones I have if anyone wants them.

It's fascinating what turns up, isn't it? I had no idea there was such
a thing as this magazine until a week or two back.  Did Ampico produce
something similar, I wonder?
