European Sources for Player Supplies
By Jan Kijlstra

In the 10 Dec. Digest you were "defending" Durrell Armstrong. I liked
it, because it's far more easier to throw mud at a person than giving
flowers.

However, a small remark I would like to make. You were writing: "if it
wasn't for Durrell, nobody could rebuild their player pianos". Maybe
in the USA this is a fact, especially for instruments that were built
in your country.

As far as European instruments are involved, or non-specific USA
materials: I do know, in Europe, several sources for parts, bellows
cloth, leather, and so on. And any museum, if having a workshop, will
be glad to be of help if questions arise.

So, if having a problem in getting something: just let me know, maybe
I can help you solve the problem.
